A Flood Alert has been issued by the Environment Agency for Christchurch Harbour.
Flooding is possible for Christchurch Harbour and tidal stretches of the Lower Stour and Avon this evening and tomorrow evening.
Low lying coastal land and roads will be affected first.

The following Flood Alerts will remain in force for two hours following the times of high water.
The time and dates of the forecast high waters for which these Flood Alerts are in force are 11:00 pm (Local time) on 11/08/2014 ( 10:00 pm GMT) and 11:45 pm (Local time) on 12/08/2014 ( 10:45 pm GMT).
The forecast wind direction is west south westerly
The forecast wind strengths is Force 5
The forecast tide level on 11/08/2014 is 1.22 mAOD and on 12/08/2014 is 1.28 mAOD
