Christchurch play sessions for National Family Week
Half-term week is also National Family Week and Christchurch
children are invited to come along to free play sessions being held
from Tuesday to Friday at different locations by the Council’s
Play Rangers, Kerrie Wheal and Rebekah Lake.
There is a different activity at each location, including the popular
NEOS games machine on Wednesday.
Sessions are as follows:
Tues 31 May 11am – 12 noon Highcliffe Recreation Ground (egg drop)
Tues 31 May 1pm – 2pm Friars Cliff beach (sandcastle competition –
bring a bucket and spade)
Wed 1 June 11am – 12 noon Mudeford Recreation Ground (NEOS
session)
Wed 1 June 1pm – 2pm Christchurch Quay (NEOS session)
Thurs 2 June 11am – 12 noon Priory View Road, Burton (minibeast
hunting)
Thurs 2 June 1pm – 2pm Jumpers Common (team games)
Fri 3 June 12 noon – 2pm Waterman’s Park (family picnic – bring lunch and a picnic backet))
The sessions are open access and children are free to come and go as they please. Children under the age of eight must be accompanied by an adult.
